Adopt an Express Cruiser!

This is one of the better adoption boats you will find. A 1969 Chris Craft Cavalier Futura. Nautiwood is a 33ft long Express Cruiser featuring futuristic lines from the 60s. This boat was pulled out of the water to save moorage costs. At the time the boat was pulled from the water, it was in the middle of a bright work and a bilge cleaning project. As a result, the exterior trim varnish has been stripped. The holding tank and water tank were also removed to accommodate the cleaning. While the cleaning is done, the tanks are still out. Minor sanding work is needed to prep for varnish.

The good news, this boat ran when it was parked. It has Chris Craft 350Qs (Chevy 350 engines) with modern conversions parts on them. They have electronic ignition and the carburetors were rebuilt a couple of years ago. They do a great job of pushing the boat along efficiently at slow speeds while still giving you the option to pick up the pace if so desired.

Nautiwood is a very nimble boat that draws attention wherever she goes. With minimal work this boat could be back on the water cruising.
